THE HUNTER NEVER LAYS HIMSELF OPEN TO BEING VICTIMIZED. IN HIS ACTIONS HE MAKES ALLOWANCE FOR THE UNEXPECTED AND IS THEREFORE NEVER TAKEN BY SURPRISE. IN THIS WAY HE AVOIDS MOST OF WHAT FOOLS REGARD AS ACCIDENTS.
WITHOUT A FLUIDITY OF PERCEPTION THE ONLY PERSONAL POWER YOU CAN GAIN IS THAT TINY BIT OF POWER PRESCRIBED BY THE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR VIEW OF THE WORLD. YET IN ORDER TO GAIN A FLUIDITY OF PERCEPTION YOU MUST FIRST CLAIM THE POWER THAT IS WITHIN YOUR GRASP. WITHOUT POWER YOU CANNOT HUNT POWER.
The assumptions that we made about life yesterday will not necessarily hold tomorrow. And as life shifts very rapidly both internally and externally, one has move very swiftly to dance with the unpredictable universe.
Théun, why do you never mention happiness, other than the book you wrote about this topic? But even then you referred to it as being elusive.
“Toltec” means simply a man or woman of knowledge; so, by the term “Toltec teachings” we refer to a set of TOOLS that these beings of knowledge put together to assist their fellow human beings first in learning how to APPRECIATE Life and second in MAKING the BEST out of each individual life-time. These tools are at the disposal of EVERY single one of us. Actually, they constitute our birthright and all we need to do in order to exercise this our right is to just CLAIM it! To all intents and purposes, these teachings ARE humanity’s heritage.

What I have written here is part of a project to introduce humanity to their natural heritage in the form of the Toltec Teachings.
